Quotes and estimates
Quotes are based on the information available at the time and may be subject to a site visit or further assessment. A quotation is not a contract until the scope and price are agreed in writing.
Scope of work
The agreed quotation or written confirmation will describe the work, materials, finishes and any relevant assumptions. Work outside that scope may be discussed and agreed separately.
Customer responsibilities and access
You should provide safe, timely access to the property, disclose known issues and remove personal items from the working area where requested. We may need reasonable access to inspect, prepare and complete the work.
Floor condition and unforeseen issues
Natural timber varies and concealed damage, movement, damp, uneven subfloors or previous treatments may only become clear during preparation. We will explain material changes to the work before proceeding where reasonably practicable.
Changes, pricing and payment
Changes to agreed work should be confirmed in writing. Prices and payment arrangements are those stated in the quotation, invoice or otherwise agreed in writing. No deposit percentage, payment deadline, cancellation fee, warranty period or late-payment fee is implied unless expressly agreed.
Scheduling, delays and cancellation
Dates are arranged in good faith and may change because of access, materials, site conditions, weather or circumstances outside reasonable control. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule so that we can discuss the available options.
Materials, finishes and natural variation
Wood is a natural material. Colour, grain, texture and the appearance of repaired or newly fitted areas may vary from samples, photographs or existing flooring. Finishes also develop with use and light.
Completion, aftercare and complaints
We will take reasonable care to complete the agreed work and leave the working area reasonably tidy. Follow the aftercare guidance provided. If you have a concern, tell us promptly so we can investigate and seek a fair resolution.
Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights under UK law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.
